The birth of Vent de bohème
Vent de bohème is the story of a French brand born in 2013, the fruit of an encounter between two curious and inspired souls: Karine and Patrick. Driven by a shared vision of life and an insatiable thirst for discovery, this duo has turned every experience, every moment, into an explosion of colours, patterns and new ideas.
A creative journey
Since our beginnings, we have drawn hundreds of patterns, each one reflecting an emotion, a memory or a hidden beauty captured along the way on our adventures. From hand fans to outdoor textiles, every creation is a unique piece, designed to brighten your everyday life with a touch of originality and a palette of vibrant colours. No more dull, soulless interiors! At Vent de bohème, we celebrate difference, boldness and, above all, the joy of living.
Our philosophy of freedom and inspiration

A commitment to quality and sustainability
We do not chase overproduction or profit at any cost. We believe in the value of handmade work, in the quality of materials and in a manufacturing process that respects resources. Our textiles and inks are eco-friendly, our wood comes from carefully managed sources, and our products travel short distances, staying close to you and limiting their footprint.
We work with artisan manufacturers, often family-run businesses that share our love of beautiful, well-made things.
A brand at the crossroads of Mediterranean influences
Our creations take shape between Occitanie, Provence, Spain and northern Italy:
- Montpellier, France – home to our design studio and warehouse: every pattern is drawn here by hand.
- Jura, France – where our trays are made.
- Milan, Italy – where our textiles are sewn.
- Spain – where our hand fans are made.
