Description

All our hand fans are designed in our workshop in Spain, where good humor, tradition and mastery of artisanal know-how come together.

Once decorated with its pattern, the canvas of our hand fan is primed and then pleated.

It is then mounted by hand by our fairy seamstresses on a frame of solid, polished cherry wood.

The choice of quality materials and the care taken in making it turn our hand fan into a high-quality accessory, more durable than the Japanese paper fan or the Spanish fan with a chipboard frame.

Vent de Bohème is a French brand of accessories and home decor with floral, colorful creations inspired by travel.

Vent de bohème inspiration notebook: hand-painted floral patterns and fabric swatches

Vent de bohème, since 2013

Once upon a time, there was a desire to create…

It all began in 2013 with the meeting of two curious souls, Karine and Patrick, and the thirst for discovery they bring home from every journey. Since then, every pattern has been drawn by hand, patiently, like a page in a sketchbook: the reflection of an emotion, a memory or a moment of beauty glimpsed along the way.

We create at the crossroads of Mediterranean influences, between Occitanie, Provence, Spain and northern Italy. That is where our creations take shape: textiles sewn in Milan, hand fans made in Spain, trays made in France, in often family-run workshops that share our love of beautiful, well-made things.
